Bridgewater Lake Retirement Estate will complete construction on eight new units later this year, expanding its number of homes to 169.
Construction started on the Roxburgh Park site earlier this year with five of the units already completed and ready for use.
Bridgewater Lake features various community amenities including a theatre, library, billiards room, resident café, indoor and outdoor bowls, gym, hairdresser and indoor pool.
The village is also home to the annual resident-run Bridgewater Lake Art Show, which draws in patrons from across Melbourne’s north.
The newly constructed units include a seven-star energy rating, open-plan living, landscaped gardens and secure garages, offering a modern contemporary feel.
Benetas CEO Sandra Hills OAM said the units would bring more seniors – people aged 55 and older – into the community, adding to the wonderful atmosphere.
“We’ve expanded Bridgewater Lake to meet the demand for sought-after retirement living services in Melbourne’s north,” Ms Hills said.
“We look forward to seeing residents move into the new units, adding to the fantastic community feel created at Bridgewater Lake.”
Benetas offers Support at Home to Bridgewater Lake residents and the surrounding areas. In October 2025, it also purchased the site’s adjacent 98-room residential aged care home.
