St Laurence Court Kangaroo Flat is positioned on over an hectare of beautifully maintained rose gardens and courtyards, providing residents with genuine, quality care within a tranquil and calm living environment.
Dedicated staff work tirelessly to know each resident personally, and to tailor a lifestyle program that really enhances life at Kangaroo Flat. Residents can enjoy regular excursions out to the local bakery, performances by local musicians, and delicious BBQ's in the warmer summer months. There's a private dining area as well as a kids cubby for when the family visits, and veggie patch growing zucchini, beetroot and carrots for residents with a penchant for gardening.

What are the meals like at Kangaroo Flat?
At Benetas St Laurence Court Kangaroo Flat we are proud of the delicious, healthy meals we prepare for residents and their guests. Cooks work closely with nutritionists and dietitians to ensure all meals prepared fulfil nutrition requirements.
We use fresh produce in all our kitchens and cater to cultural and religious requirements, and aim to please all individual tastes. Benetas St Laurence Court Kangaroo Flat holds regular ‘food forums’ for residents and kitchen staff to discuss new ideas for the menus.
What is the lifestyle like at Kangaroo Flat?
Led by a committed team of caring and trained staff, clients are offered a wide choice of lifestyle and leisure activities, with access to a range of services, including on-site hairdresser, podiatry, library and regular chapel services as well as pastoral care support to help clients meet their diverse religious, spiritual and pastoral needs.
With close links to the local community, clients also have opportunity to be involved with regional organisations, churches and social groups.
Staff and volunteers
We encourage our staff and volunteers to bring a pastoral sensibility to their roles, to listen to and be truly present to our residents. Our specialist team of non-denominational Pastoral Care Practitioners provide individualised and ongoing spiritual and emotional support.
In addition, through our Lifestyle Program, denominational visitors and volunteer companions foster an ongoing connection with our residents’ chosen faith tradition and provide church and chaplaincy services.

How to book a visit
We are now accepting online bookings for all visits. To make a booking, you need to click on the link above, and follow the prompts. To help with your booking you will need to hand:
- your mobile phone number
- details of who you are visiting
- proof of your flu vaccination stored electronically (see below)
- Please read the conditions of entry before you book.
We ask where possible that you please book at least 24 hours in advance.


About Online bookings
All bookings now need to be made via our online system
You need to have proof of your flu vaccination stored electronically (as a photo of the certificate or PDF). This can include your Benetas flu vaccination card if you have one. You will only need to do this once, the system will record this for future visits.
- Bookings can only be made 10-12 and 1.30-3.30 only, on a first come first served basis - and only if the capacity of each residence has not been reached
- Exceptions for a current flu vaccine will only be accepted on medical grounds and must be supported by evidence from a medical practitioner.
- Please try to book at least 24 hours in advance
- Don’t forget your Flu Vaccination documentation. And if you have had the Coronavirus and since been cleared, we will also need documentation on this.
- Please, if you have any symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, DO NOT COME TO THE HOME. This is also important for those who have been caring for sick children.
- If your loved one is receiving end of life care or you require exceptions to the above protocols based on individual circumstances, please talk to the Residential Manager regarding your family and loved one arrangements.
