Resident Dallas celebrates 100th birthday
Dallas, a resident at St Laurence Court in Eaglehawk, celebrated her 100th birthday on 25 September, surrounded by her family and friends.
Dallas was born in 1923 in Merbein West, outside of Mildura, and went on to marry RAAF serviceman George in 1946 when they were both 22 years old.
A mother to three children, Dallas has nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Dallas also received letters from King Charles and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in recognition of her birthday and enjoyed an afternoon tea with fellow residents.
