Macedon Ranges Health is excited to welcome new clinicians to the team.

These clinicians, who are expert in their fields are available for appointments at our health centre, or via phone or video conference. Home visits are also available in some situations. Please call us for more information.

Occupational Therapist

Sam Hodson

Sam is an experienced Occupational Therapist who has worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom within the community, inpatient, and residential aged care settings. He has provided therapy in the areas of physical health, vision loss, mental health, and neurodiversity. Sam has delivered interventions to people of all ages in order to maximise function, independence, safety, and quality of life in everyday living.

Sam is passionate about helping people achieve their goals through his work and finds great satisfaction in this. He has a special interest in working with younger people and with people with blindness and low vision.

Sam is available between Mondays and Thursdays. Call us to book in.

  • Promoting NDIS client skill development in activities of daily living including meal planning and healthy eating, meal preparation, money management, budgeting, routine development, and task pacing.
  • Providing sensory assessments and interventions to younger clients with ASD and other diagnoses.
  • Providing anxiety management strategies.
  • Promoting the wellbeing of clients with dementia and their families / carers through therapy.
  • Prescribing equipment including mobility scooters, adaptive kitchen appliances, lightweight and long handled equipment, electric beds, and recliner chairs to meet client needs.
  • Prescribing complex wheelchair and other seating solutions to a variety of NDIS clients via submission of State-wide Equipment Program applications.
  • Prescribing adaptive aids and moving and handling equipment and providing clients and carers with training in the use of these as required.
  • Facilitating bathroom, home access, and car modifications to promote client safety, confidence, and independence.
  • Prescribing a range of low vision aids and providing training in the use of these.
  • Providing advice to clients with low vision about optimising task and general lighting at home.
  • Co-ordinating short-term packages of care for clients identified as having rehabilitation potential.
 

Jessica Fuller

Jessica is an experienced Accredited Practising Dietitian who is enthusiastic about food and helping clients set and fulfil their nutrition goals. Jessica has a wide range of nutrition experience presenting nutrition talks and workshops, writing articles and working with clients one-on-one. She also works in Private Practice where she works with multiple GPs, Specialists and Allied Health Specialists on a daily basis.

Madeleine is an experienced Physiotherapist who is passionate about holistic, individualised, patient-centred care. She has over 17 years of hospital and community-based experience. Madeleine is able to see infants, children, adolescents, adults and age care clients. She has a special interest in adolescent health and a post-graduate diploma in this field. Madeleine is looking forward to achieving optimal health outcomes for patients.
