Benetas has announced the pending acquisition of Bridgewater Lake Retirement Estate in Roxburgh Park. Currently owned by family run Parks Villages, the Estate will formally shift to Benetas ownership on 1 April 2022.
The move is in keeping with the Benetas strategic plan to increase its retirement living offer in Victoria.
With the launch of the new St John’s Rise Retirement Village in Mooroolbark expected mid-2022, Benetas will offer Retirement Living in three locations including Dalkeith Heights in Traralgon with a further planned development in Gisborne in a few years’ time.
Benetas CEO Sandra Hills OAM said the organisation was thrilled to welcome nearly 200 Bridgewater Lake residents plus employees to the fold.
“It is really important in the first instance that we work to a smooth transition for all involved,” she said.
“Once this occurs we will be looking at upgrades to the bowling green and completing the new homes that are under construction.”
Benetas is committed to maintaining high service standards and as a large Victorian provider of aged care services, can provide comprehensive support for the Retirement Estate through additional out of hours maintenance support, access to home care and in-home nursing services to name a few benefits.
Ms Hills said that the priority for the organisation is to continue to build on its five-year Next Generation Strategic Plan focused on high performance, integrated and exceptional customer experience, communities of choice, and being a great place to work and volunteer.
