About St John's Park
Set within four hectares of beautiful parkland, Benetas St John’s Park is home to a close-knit community of 20, and has a warmth that makes all new residents feel immediately at home. Residents can relax and socialise in the generous gardens, external courtyards, and comfortable living areas.
Dedicated, experienced staff provide around-the-clock genuine care, and encourage residents to nurture existing relationships while building new ones.

There are two components to your living arrangements when joining one of our residential homes: your daily care fee, which is the cost of your care (set by government), and your accommodation rate, which is the cost of your room.

What are the meals like at St John's Park?
At Benetas St John's Park we are proud of the delicious, healthy meals we prepare for residents and their guests. Cooks work closely with nutritionists and dieticians to ensure all meals prepared fulfil nutrition requirements. We use fresh produce in all our kitchens and cater to cultural and religious requirements, and aim to please all individual tastes. Benetas St John's Park holds regular ‘food forums’ for residents and kitchen staff to discuss new ideas for the menus.
What's the lifestyle like at St John's Park?
St John’s Park offers a wide choice of leisure and lifestyle activities and pastoral care support to help clients meet their diverse religious, spiritual and pastoral needs. Close links exist with local community organisations, churches and social groups, giving clients access to essential networks outside the home so they can maintain their community associations and friendships.
Multiple lounge and dining areas ensure all residents can get to know each other and develop friendships. Landscaped gardens over the four hectares offer residents a wonderful place for recreation and quiet reflection. There are also raised gardens for residents’ use.
Staff and volunteers
We encourage our staff and volunteers to bring a pastoral sensibility to their roles, to listen to and be truly present to our residents. Our specialist team of non-denominational Pastoral Care Practitioners provide individualised and ongoing spiritual and emotional support.
In addition, through our Lifestyle Program, denominational visitors and volunteer companions foster an ongoing connection with our residents’ chosen faith tradition and provide church and chaplaincy services.

Our specialist team of non-denominational Pastoral Care Practitioners provide individualised, ongoing spiritual and emotional support. In addition, through our Lifestyle Program, residents’ chosen faiths are supported with church and chaplaincy services through our worship and reflection spaces.
How to book a visit
We are now accepting online bookings for all visits. To make a booking, you need to click on the link above, and follow the prompts. To help with your booking you will need to hand:
- your mobile phone number
- details of who you are visiting
- proof of your flu vaccination stored electronically (see below)
- Please read the conditions of entry before you book.
We ask where possible that you please book at least 24 hours in advance.
About Online bookings
All bookings now need to be made via our online system
You need to have proof of your flu vaccination stored electronically (as a photo of the certificate or PDF). This can include your Benetas flu vaccination card if you have one. You will only need to do this once, the system will record this for future visits.
- Bookings can only be made 10-12 and 1.30-3.30 only, on a first come first served basis - and only if the capacity of each residence has not been reached
- Exceptions for a current flu vaccine will only be accepted on medical grounds and must be supported by evidence from a medical practitioner.
- Please try to book at least 24 hours in advance
- Don’t forget your Flu Vaccination documentation. And if you have had the Coronavirus and since been cleared, we will also need documentation on this.
- Please, if you have any symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, DO NOT COME TO THE HOME. This is also important for those who have been caring for sick children.
- If your loved one is receiving end of life care or you require exceptions to the above protocols based on individual circumstances, please talk to the Residential Manager regarding your family and loved one arrangements.
