About Lovell House
Lovell House is located in the leafy bayside suburb of Caulfield, and is home to a close-knit community of 40 residents. Dedicated staff know each resident personally, and are on-hand to provide genuine around the clock care in a warm and supportive atmosphere that feels like home.
Small and boutique in feel, Lovell House is surrounded by landscaped gardens that are easily accessible throughout the year. Lovell also boasts a large central courtyard with raised flower beds and BBQ, and an array of warm and cosy indoor spaces for catching up with family and friends.
An engaging lifestyle program encompasses reflection groups, walks and choir practices, and each resident can enjoy a cake made by the on-site chef on their birthday.

What are the meals like at Lovell House?
At Benetas Lovell House we are proud of the delicious, healthy meals we prepare for residents and their guests. Cooks work closely with nutritionists and dieticians to ensure all meals prepared fulfil nutrition requirements. We use fresh produce in all our kitchens and cater to cultural and religious requirements, and aim to please all individual tastes.
What's the lifestyle like at Lovell House?
The gracious Lovell House was originally built more than 100 years ago and its heritage has been maintained to this day. A comprehensive leisure program ensures residents have a continual range of options to choose from in regards to activities and outings in the local community. Family members are encouraged to enjoy the wonderful surrounds of the dining room and share a meal with residents.
A small group of volunteers ensures residents maintain links with the local community and assist with all manner of items from reading aloud, hosting ‘happy hour’ to assisting with using the internet hub.
Pastoral Care at Benetas
Benetas staff and volunteers offer pastoral empathy in their roles by listening to, and being there for, residents. Our specialist team of non-denominational Pastoral Care Practitioners provide individualised, ongoing spiritual and emotional support. In addition, through our Lifestyle Program, residents’ chosen faiths are supported with church and chaplaincy services through our worship and reflection spaces.
Staff and volunteers
We encourage our staff and volunteers to bring a pastoral sensibility to their roles, to listen to and be truly present to our residents. Our specialist team of non-denominational Pastoral Care Practitioners provide individualised and ongoing spiritual and emotional support.
In addition, through our Lifestyle Program, denominational visitors and volunteer companions foster an ongoing connection with our residents’ chosen faith tradition and provide church and chaplaincy services.
