Benetas appoints new executive
26th March 2019

Not-for-profit and Victorian-based aged care provider Benetas has announced the appointment of Veronica Jamison as the new general manager of primary and home care.
Ms Jamison was previously general manager of member support and state manager VIC/TAS at provider peak Leading Age Services Australia (LASA).
She has postgraduate qualifications in business, management and human resource management along with a psychology degree.
She is also a fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Human Resources Institute and the Aged Care Complaints Commissioner Consultative Committee.
Ms Jamison said she was thrilled about her appointment.
“With primary care being a new area in the Benetas portfolio, it will be an exciting journey for both myself and the organisation,” she said.
Benetas CEO Sandra Hills said Ms Jamison secured the role due to her outstanding credentials.
“With extensive experience in aged care through LASA, she has also been involved in the health sector for over 30 years, previously holding CEO and senior executive roles in both rural Victorian and metropolitan Melbourne health services in both the public healthcare and not-for-profit sectors. This makes her a perfect fit for this role,” Ms Hills said.
