Child Speech Pathologist
Despite the challenges, Laura says it’s the children’s development that gets her through.
“It can be hard for both the children and their parents, but there are these great moments that we have of progress and sheer delight.
I try to incorporate a lot of play-based therapy to my sessions and we often have a lot of fun and leave the room looking like a craft station.
It’s really wonderful to have the opportunity to help people, parents and children alike, and work with them on their goals and needs. It’s a pretty special involvement to have.”
At Macedon Ranges Health, Laura offers speech pathology services for children aged 2-12 years old.
