Partnering perfection

A new partnership between Benetas and one of Victoria’s leading seniors’ organisations will see a wealth of opportunities for older people across the state.

Sandra Hills, CEO of Benetas, and Lindsay Doig, President of Life Activities Clubs Victoria (LACVI), signed a partnership agreement in early August. LACVI, through its network of Clubs across the State and over 4,000 members, works to improve the quality of life for people approaching and in retirement.

The core objectives of the collaboration are to encourage older Victorians to maintain active and engaged lifestyles and to educate active retirees about the need to plan ahead.

“I am delighted with the opportunity to partner with Life Activities Clubs,” Benetas CEO Sandra Hills said in August. “I’ve admired their work for a long time. Their motto that ‘life’s better together’ really resonates at a time when we’re increasingly seeing older people at risk of social isolation.”

LACVI President Mr Doig commented that “Life Activities Clubs Victoria has a strong focus on growth. Our partnership with Benetas will benefit both our organisations by capitalising on the synergies between us and promoting the idea that there are plenty of options for fun and fulfilment for people once they step back from full-time employment.”
