Benetas welcomes Animals on the Move to Benetas Dalkeith Hostel

It was fun for all ages when the much anticipated Animals on the Move visited Benetas Dalkeith Hostel in Traralgon.

Animals on the Move is a touring barnyard experience that involves meeting animals up close, animal-feedings and learning about the different creatures, great and small.

Animals on the Move is part of Benetas’ commitment to social inclusion and provided via the Benetas fundraising program.

Benetas Dalkeith Hostel Lifestyle Coordinator Karen Siddle said the residents relished the experience, which she admitted was a nice departure from their daily routines.

“It’s a really positive experience for residents and a great opportunity for them to have their friends and families along,” Karen said. "The opportunity to spend time with these animals is very special as we have many residents who grew up, or lived and worked on farms in the Latrobe Valley.”
