A thriving community
There are a variety of different ways groups such as Rotary Clubs and church groups can volunteer with us.
For instance, in the past Rotary Clubs have helped with small projects within the residential care facilities such as garden working bees or helping with fundraising projects.
Church groups have been involved in other ways including providing entertainment through singing performances.
We would be happy to talk to you about how your community group could be involved in a volunteer program. Please contact Sofie Petropoulos on (03) 8823 7900 or email vc@benetas.com.au
A friendly welcome and lots of bargains

Benetas volunteers are a truly multi-talented group of caring spirits. They not only visit our residents in facilities, drive our mini buses and help community care clients, but also contribute to our fundraising efforts.
One of Benetas’ most well-known fundraising ventures is ‘The Shed’ at St John’s Park in Mooroolbark. Volunteers from the St John's Park Auxiliary opened the op shop in 1989, and all funds raised, go towards improving the quality of life of the residents living in the Benetas St John’s nursing home.
It is ventures such as these that assist Benetas with funding additional items to improve the quality of life of our residents, including new mini-buses, outings, art and craft materials, games and social events.
