Almost three out of four of Australians support charities in our lifetime. We hold morning teas; shave our heads; run marathons; bake cakes - all in the name of lending a hand to our favourite charities. However, when it comes to remembering these organisations in our Wills, most of us forget.

In fact, only 7% of Australians leave a gift in their Will, also known as a bequest. If we could increase that figure to just 14% over time, we could generate an additional $440 million every year for good causes.

Benetas is a proud member of the Include a Charity campaign. We want to encourage more people to think about including a charitable gift in their Will, after they’ve taken care of their family and friends.
