St Laurence Court – Eaglehawk

Warm home-like atmosphere

St Laurence Court Eaglehawk was established in 1968 and is one of two Benetas facilities in Bendigo (a second is located in Kangaroo Flat). On 1 January 2006, St Laurence Court transferred its operations and ownership to Benetas to become the organisation’s first regional residential facility.

Community based environment

Located in Bendigo, 150kms North West of Melbourne, St Laurence Court offers quality care services within a strong community-based environment. With a warm, home-like atmosphere, St Laurence Court Eaglehawk has a strong relationship with the local community to provide clients with access to local organisations, churches and social groups.

Space to enjoy life

Set across an expansive 5.3 hectares, the hostel facility features single room accommodation, each with their own full en-suite. A team of committed, caring and highly trained staff provide clients with a range of lifestyle and leisure activities, including regular exercise programs, on-site hairdresser, podiatry and library facilities and pastoral care support to help clients meet their diverse religious, spiritual and pastoral needs.

A large, bright lounge area is used for regular entertainment activities, while a charming chapel, built in 1987, is used for regular services. A recently revamped courtyard now offers outdoor seating in a leafy, colourful sensory garden setting.
