Why choose Benetas?
The aged care provider of choice
Our variety of care options allows you to choose the right level of care for you, or your loved one, knowing that our professional staff will provide quality, compassionate care.
Whether it’s specialist care facilities you need, day or overnight respite, dementia care, or support in the home, we are there to help you. The variety of care services we offer allows us to provide ongoing support and care as each person’s care needs change.
Growing along with Victoria
For today, tomorrow and the long-term, we are well placed to grow and deliver the services that our older community need, where they need it.
Currently, we have over 700 permanent residential care places across 11 residential sites (including two dementia-specific units), which include three dedicated respite centres, as well as 830 community care packages across Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and regional Victoria.
Listening and responding
We understand the importance of family and community connection and we actively listen to what older people, their families and carers want and expect from an aged care service.
We also help over 100 people every month with advice and support through our aged care advice line – 1300 23 63 82.
Experienced staff and volunteers
We encourage and support all staff to excel in what they do. Not only that, but we provide ongoing professional development and education to ensure best practice standards are upheld. All our staff must have a Certificate III in aged care.
Our approach to staffing:
- Robust recruitment policies, qualification requirements and on-the-job training
- Professional development opportunities and varied career paths
- Occupational health and safety policies
- Continuous feedback and reporting
Our generous volunteers are a big part of Benetas. Many volunteers are often recognised for their contribution to the community by winning awards and accolades for their achievements. Our volunteers are an all important link connecting older people with the community.
